![]() ![]() What have you done to me? She said, the slightest tinge of fear filtering through her calm mental voice. Puting aside those thoughts, he pushed his power towards the soul he still held and made contact. Giving him the gift of undeath and the power to be unchallenged on Earth was the least he could do for his childhood best friend. When he had arrived in Eradel as a twelve year old child, it was the memories of Henry that let him stand up for himself and become the man he had become. Henry had always protected him from bullies as a child, and their companionship had meant a lot to him. It truly was a shame that he couldn’t have claimed Henry for the task. While he felt a small amount of resistance at first, with a flex of his will he pushed through and began to change the vessel to something more suited to his knight. With it suspended in the air, he began to channel his powerful magics and let them flow through Yasha’s weakened vessel. William raised his other hand and Yasha’s body floated carefully to him. He would need to rely on carefully hiding those chains from the people he raised as he cultivated their independent natures, hoping he would be able to eventually create the kind of council he needed to get through the plans he had for the future. A city of slaves to his will, and rather than relish in the thought, he felt alone. The main regret he had in his actions upon arriving to Earth was that the souls he claimed were forever bound to him as the necromancer who would raise them again. In the years to come, he was going to need someone with her power and knowledge at his beck and call. The particular soul he was holding was that of Yasha, the defender of Bastion, the first true hero of Earth and the best candidate he had for his bound knight. When he got the ability to A rank and realized what he could do for the people of Earth he had doubled down and trained even harder for his return. Back when it was only he had been able to drain the energy of the souls he claimed to increase his own power, but now he could also release some of his own power into those souls to create new undead with access to their own systems. He had created the skill around level 230 when he gained the opportunity to merge a number of his lower levelled skills. His highest ranked skill allowed him to claim the souls of the people he killed, but it also allowed him to do so much more now it had reached A-rank. William held out his hand and a particular soul floated out of his chest with a single flicker of his skill. He had a lot of reasons for what he had done, and he told himself that his actions were necessary each time he slept. The soulless bodies of his raised zombies slaved away as they began to build high walls and fortifications. Even now, as he used their vessels to rebuild the city, he held their souls in his power, preparing to give them back one by one. By bringing the inhabitants of Bastion the gift of undeath, he had instantly eliminated the threat of true death to their souls. He had become a brutal man over the hundreds of years he had spent in Eradel, and only now he was back on Earth seeing the cushy lives its people led did he realise that fact. ![]() Behind him, the moon shone bright as it provided the light his minions needed to begin to rebuild the defenses of the city. Additional chests generate in the bastion, but they use the "generic" loot table instead of the "treasure" loot table.William stood at the top of a fallen skyscraper, overlooking the remnants of Bastion. At the bottom of a treasure room, there is a Magma Cube spawner, and a center loot area consisting of blocks of gold, as well as 1 or 2 treasure chests. The treasure room consists of many bridges suspended above a lava floor. The treasure room structure consists of a large rampart supported by buttresses, with a bridge going between it and the treasure room itself. The housing unit consists of multiple ruined two-part ramparts arranged around a central courtyard with nether wart growing in the middle. The hoglin stables consist of a three-part rampart with damaged hoglin stables on either side. A damaged bridge goes out from the mouth, with a support pillar on the far side. The inside of the "mouth" consists of multiple levels of walkways surrounded by lava. The bridge consists of a large ruined rampart structure with a piglin face carved into it. Bastion remnants are the only place to find the Pigstep music disc, the snout banner pattern, and a Magma Cube spawner. Piglins and Piglin Brutes spawn in these structures on generation, and Hoglins may also spawn on generation in the bridge and hoglin stables variants. They generate in four distinct variants, each with a unique structure and set of loot. Bastion Remnants are large, castle-like generated structures found in the Nether in all of the biomes except Basalt Deltas. ![]()
